This Must be the Band has dubbed this show “Art Rock @ the Abbey” because we will be displaying people’s art around the room all night. Kasey Foster, the beautiful singer in Savvy, is putting on a variety show this Tuesday, Oct 19th, 2010, at Martyrs. It is going to be awesome, everyone should come. She somehow appeared on Conan this week to promote the show, and there is a preview of the show:
We’ve been handing out a bunch of flyers for our next show, Friday, Nov 12th at Martyrs. The date on those flyers is correct, but it says Saturday. Very stupid. It is definitely Friday, come to that show. The other info is also correct, bring the flyer and it’s only $5. That’s the cheapest show this side of the Mississip.
Savvy’s first show in 4 months will be Friday, Nov. 12th, at the best venue in the world, Martyrs’ Restaurant and Pub, at 3855 N. Lincoln. The sound there is the best, the ambience is the best, the drinks are the strongest.
We will be opening for the afro-funk band Euforquestra, and Mas Trueno is opening for us. Altogether, every band will make you dance your ass off.
